(Maitra) is a multi-discipline engineering and construction management firm with 24 years of experience in infrastructure, transportation, industrial and institutional facilities in New York City, New Jersey and surrounding areas. Maitra offers professional services within several disciplines including civil/site engineering; structural engineering; electrical engineering; mechanical engineering; survey/mapping and construction management. Our expanding client base consists of government customers, including federal, state and local agencies and Fortune 500 companies.
Since our founding in 1982, Maitra has grown from a two-person office to a regional company with approximately 70 professionals located in design centers in New Jersey and New York City. Previously specializing in structural design for industrial facilities, over the past 15 years Maitra has diversified into bridge and highway design, surveying and complete engineering/design services for projects at airports, transit and institutional facilities.
