(Maitra) is a multi-discipline engineering and construction management firm with 28 years of experience in infrastructure, transportation, industrial and institutional facilities in New York City, New Jersey and surrounding areas. Maitra offers professional services within several disciplines including civil/site engineering; structural engineering; electrical engineering; mechanical engineering; survey/mapping and construction management. Our expanding client base consists of government customers, including federal, state and local agencies and Fortune 500 companies.
Since our founding in 1982, Maitra has grown from a two-person office to a regional company with approximately 45 professionals located in offices in New Jersey and New York City. Previously specializing in structural design for industrial facilities, over the past 20 years Maitra has diversified into bridge and highway design, surveying and complete engineering/design services for projects at airports, transit and institutional facilities.
